What is your bespoke process?
All of our pieces are custom made and can be personalised at each stage of creation. We have three signature designs which clients can personalise and adapt to their own personal preferences. Throughout the creation process, we offer diamond education and guidance so that each client can create a piece which is truly unique to them. We also offer completely customised designs on a case by case basis. To learn more about our bespoke service please see here.
How do I begin?
If you would like to get started with a bespoke engagement ring, or to explore pricing, options and designs please get in touch here. We work by appointment and remotely via email, phone, WhatsApp or video call, whichever is easiest for you. Once design and stone selection has been finalised we keep you updated on progress through photos and HD videos so that you can be part of the journey every step of the way.
Do you have a showroom?
As we primarily operate as an ecommerce retailer we do not have a showroom at this time, however, if you would like to arrange an in person appointment we can arrange this for you. Our team is always on hand to speak with or to provide images and videos. Please contact hello@ringswithgrace.com for further assistance.
How long will my piece take?
As each piece is made-to-order, we recommend leaving at least 6 weeks for your bespoke piece to be made. This allows for your ring to be handcrafted by our master jewellers as well as adequate time for stone selection. We always encourage clients to build in a little additional time before a specific date to allow for us to create everything to your exact requirements.
If you need something sooner or by a specific date, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Can I create a bespoke wedding band?
We have a small selection of weddings bands that are designed to pair with most ring styles, however it is also an option to customise existing styles to your liking. This includes:
Diamond/Stone Size
Type of Stone
Thickness of band
Additional costs are based on the extent of the customisation.
We also offer a fully bespoke wedding band service.
How do I make sure I order the correct size?
Please see our top tips on finding the correct size here. If in doubt, the UK average is a size M. You can also order a complimentary ring sizer by contacting us on hello@ringswithgrace.com.
What if I choose the incorrect size?
Most of our rings are easy to resize. We offer one complimentary resize on bespoke engagement rings within 30 days of purchase as we understand it can be difficult to get it right first time (especially when the ring is a surprise).
After this first resize, any additional resizing required will be at cost. Please also note, that resizing a piece to a significantly larger or smaller size can sometimes be difficult to maintain the current band and or/setting. In some cases, this may incur a fee to remake a ring that is beyond the resizing limit. If you are worried about getting sizing correct, just let our team know so that we can assist. Please note, the final decision on ring size is the choice of the customer and once it’s been agreed and the deposit paid, the ring will be made to this given ring size.
No resizing can be offered on full eternity rings, any full set rings, and certain gemstone rings.
Do you use both natural and lab-grown diamonds?
Yes, we offer both of these options. Each have their unique benefits and we will work with each client to provide guidance on which option is best for you.
How do you source stones?
Responsible practice is at the heart of every decision we make and conflict-free stones and ethical sourcing are of great importance to us. We only work with diamonds from ethical origins and source from trusted suppliers who are also committed to these values. We hand select each and every stone and present several stone options for each client to review and select from.
Are you stones certified?
All stones of our stones GIA/IGI certified as standard. You will receive your unique certificate upon completion of your finished piece. Stones under 0.3 carats such as those used on pavé diamond bands are not certified to keep the costs of the stones lower.
Where are your precious metals sourced from?
All of our precious metals are traceable or 100% recycled. We are also Fairtrade registered and can use Fairtrade gold on request.
Are your pieces Hallmarked?
Yes, in the UK the Hallmarking Act ensures that items made from gold, silver, platinum and palladium conform to all legal standards for purity (fineness). Our pieces bear a stamp which indicate the mark of the maker, the assay office, the date and the purity of the metal, giving you extra piece of mind when purchasing your piece.
Can I supply my own stone?
We work with clients' existing stones and jewellery on a case-by-case basis. The work involves removing diamonds or gemstones from their existing settings, repolish if required, measure, clean and re-set into a new piece of jewellery. In this instance we have a Disclaimer that must be agreed to before we will accept to undertake the commission:
