Something a little different for Rings with Grace. This 0.50ct old cut diamond in a Georgian cut-down style engagement ring, featuring a beautiful button back setting in 18ct Rose Gold and Blackened White Gold.
This is a setting style that dates back to the days of Marie-Antoinette, who famously wore several bracelets in this style featuring over 150 carats of diamonds.
The cut-down setting is a method in which a layer of metal surrounds the stone. The setting is raised at intervals by narrow vertical strips of metal, adding further security. This setting required an immense amount of specialised skill, and is therefore a true reflection of the incredible talent that goes into creating them.

We love this spectacular engagement ring remodel. Our clients existing cushion cut yellow diamond, alongside the addition of a bright white pear shape diamond makes this a super unique Toi et Moi and highlights the versatility of this style. To ensure the stones look their very best we set the cushion cut diamond in yellow gold, and the pear cut in platinum.
